Position Summary: Director of Mitigation
We are seeking a Director of Mitigation to oversee the operational performance, administration, client relations, and field execution within our mitigation division. This role involves direct project leadership from initial contract through production and closeout, ensuring high-quality service delivery, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction across fire, water, and mold restoration projects.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong estimating, project management, and client development skills, capable of traveling as business needs arise.
Director of Mitigation Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Proficient in Xactimate (mandatory) and restoration project management software (JobNimbus, MICA).
- IICRC Certified in fire, water, and mold restoration.
- Proven experience with commercial roofing, mitigation, and restoration for sectors such as healthcare, education, and multi-family.
- Strong driving record, minimum 3 years verifiable driving experience, and able to travel locally extensively.
Director of Mitigation Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture business relationships with adjusters, property owners, facility managers, and other commercial clients.
- Prepare scopes of work, estimates, contracts, initiate operations, and manage full project documentation and invoicing processes.
- Communicate with project managers to ensure high-quality service delivery, compliance with company protocols, and resolution of project challenges.
- Determine necessary operational steps at project onset and make critical adjustments beyond standard procedures when needed to secure or protect business opportunities.
Director of Mitigation Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation range begins in the $85,000–$100,000 range, with profit-sharing opportunities.
