Construction Project Manager
Location: South Boston, MA

Overview:
A well-established real estate and construction management firm in South Boston is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to take charge of multifamily housing developments from initial planning through final turnover. The right candidate will possess a sharp eye for detail, strong leadership capabilities, and a solid track record managing large-scale residential construction projects.
Primary Duties:
- Lead comprehensive oversight of residential builds, including budget planning, scheduling, procurement, and on-site coordination.
- Act as the central liaison among subcontractors, consultants, municipal agencies, and design professionals to maintain high standards and regulatory compliance.
- Build, track, and adjust detailed project timelines to ensure delivery within scope.
- Facilitate weekly progress meetings and maintain transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Control costs and prepare monthly budget tracking reports aligned with financial targets.
- Promote and enforce a safe working environment in compliance with all applicable codes and OSHA regulations.
- Supervise subcontractors’ output, resolving field challenges promptly to maintain construction quality.
- Coordinate walkthroughs, inspections, and final sign-offs with governing agencies.
- Manage project closeout procedures, including punch list execution and owner handoff.
Ideal Qualifications:
- At least eight years in project management, particularly focused on multifamily or mixed-use developments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage construction projects exceeding $10 million in scope.
- Skilled in project software such as Procore, MS Project, or Primavera, with a solid grasp of construction financials.
- Proven leadership in managing timelines, scope, and cross-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Capable of managing multiple deliverables without losing focus on quality or deadlines.
- Comfortable with digital tools, including Microsoft Office and project collaboration platforms.
Preferred Education:
Degrees in construction management, engineering, or architecture are beneficial but not mandatory.
