Join a premier North American automobile manufacturer renowned for its focus on passenger safety, product excellence, and clean-energy innovation. We’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to elevate production efficiency and guide design changes throughout our assembly facilities.

Manufacturing Engineer – Responsibilities

  • Serve as the frontline technical resource for production teams—refining tooling setups, labor standards, workflow, and material logistics.
  • Evaluate engineering updates inside the PLM platform, determine their production impact, and oversee seamless rollout on the shop floor.
  • Champion continuous-improvement initiatives through SPC metrics, targeted PFMEA, control plans, and disciplined root-cause methodologies.
  • Build concise business justifications and support capital-expenditure requests (AFEs) for new tooling and equipment.
  • Author and maintain ISO 9000–aligned procedures and records to satisfy audit and compliance demands.

Manufacturing Engineer – Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • At least three years of hands-on manufacturing or industrial-engineering experience (vehicle or automotive assembly strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings and comprehend chassis/body assembly fundamentals.
  • Solid skills in project scheduling, organization, and cross-department communication.
  • Competence with the full Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of MS Project.
