Key Account Specialist – Food Distribution

We’re looking for a relationship-driven professional with solid food distribution experience to join a growing team supporting major national accounts. This role is focused on building strong partnerships and delivering effective day-to-day solutions that lead to long-term success. If your background is in retail grocery or beverage sales, this won’t be the right fit—but if you’ve worked in foodservice distribution, even with a smaller distributor, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, including franchise groups and operations teams
• Oversee project execution and ensure alignment between client goals and internal operations
• Lead cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth service delivery and support
• Regularly visit clients in the field (travel required) to maintain relationships and resolve issues in real-time

Who You Are:

• Experienced in food distribution (this is a must)
• Strong communicator and natural relationship builder
• Comfortable with travel—up to 40%, including overnights when needed
• Organized, proactive, and great at managing multiple priorities
• At least 5 years of experience in account management, sales, or a client-facing role in the distribution world
