This position is based in Spain. Relocation assistance and work sponsorships will be provided.
We are seeking a Technical Engineering Director to join our client's office in Spain. In this high-impact role, you'll manage a growing team, help shape the company’s AI strategy, and ensure the deployment of production-grade GenAI solutions across a hybrid cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure + Kubernetes). While experience with LLMs is appreciated, we are currently prioritizing broader expertise across deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and generative AI.
Technical Engineering Director Qualifications
- Native-level fluency in Spanish (spoken and written)
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 5+ years leading engineering or AI/ML teams (10+ team members)
- Solid hands-on experience with MLOps and DevOps in production environments
- Proficiency working in cloud infrastructure environments (AWS and Azure)
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes for model deployment and orchestration
- Technical leadership in GenAI, NLP, deep learning, and computer vision
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- Experience translating research into scalable solutions
