Position: Senior Accountant in a Manufacturing Environment

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5-7 years of post-grad accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience leading a team of up to 5 people
• Experience or knowledge of Power BI would be nice but not required
• Power Query
• High proficiency in Excel / Excel Macros and MS office produces
• Experience with customizing reports
• Sage 100 or 300 REQUIRED
• ERP system experience required
• Experience with implementations and system administration

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducts comprehensive monthly analysis to monitor trends and variances in revenue, costs, and other profit and Loss accounts
• Plays an integral role in organizing and executing the annual physical inventory audit
• Performs monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure financial data accuracy
• Evaluates inventory and CapEx balances recommending adjustments as needed
• Prepares a range of reports as needed and requested
• Contributes significantly and manages the month-end closing process
• Participates in system implementation projects across all departments
