Scratch Kitchen Restaurant – Executive Chef

This long-standing upscale full-service restaurant is looking for a new Executive Chef who loves to cook, mentor teams, and can handle large volumes.

Restaurant Exec Chef Duties and Responsibilities:

  • providing a safe and sanitary work environment
  • supervising staff to conform to all standards and regulations
  • interview, train, and develop the back-of-house staff members
  • coach/counsel, resolve problems, and empower the staff with open communication
  • responsible for operating a profitable restaurant
  • manage and operate the kitchen within budget to include labor, purchasing, and production

Restaurant Exec Chef Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years plus culinary experience, preferably in a high-volume fine dining restaurant
  • attention to detail, well organized, and able to multi-task.
  • has personal initiative, action, and results-oriented
  • interpersonal and motivational skills, ability to effectively supervise and instill cooperation
  • ability to work well under pressure
  • strong working knowledge with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel

Restaurant Exec Chef Compensation and Benefits

  • $90,000 to $120,000 base salary
