Senior Attorney | Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney

As an Associate with our firm, you'll be responsible for managing all aspects of workers’ compensation cases of varying degrees of complexity, including:

• Handle all aspects of litigation from intake up to settlement or trial
• Interact well with our clients for legal consultation or advice, which includes insurance carriers, employers, and third-party administrators
• Create litigation plans
• Proactively handle files with precision and expertise
• Create budget plans, if necessary
• Prepare cases for trial and conduct them while maintaining exceptional client interaction
• Negotiate or transact any matter for or on behalf of clients
• Represent clients at depositions or other discovery matters
• Communicate with clarity and professional integrity to convey complex legal matters
• Guide non-attorney team members as needed

What we expect you’ve got:

• Member of the California State Bar in good standing
• 5+ years of experience as an attorney in Workers’ Compensation Defense
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Comfortable using technology in a paperless environment
