We are seeking a high-level Restaurant General Manager with a strong culinary foundation for a new, chef-driven QSR. This is a unique, dual-focused leadership role designed for someone who has grown from Executive Chef into a General Manager role.
This is not a traditional QSR General Manager role. Culinary leadership and kitchen oversight are critical to success.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or related field
- ServSafe Certification (required)
Restaurant General Manager Required Background:
- Experience as both an Executive Chef AND a General Manager (critical requirement)
- 5+ years in a Chef-Operator, Executive Chef, or GM role
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations, menu execution, and financial management
- Experience with high-volume operations
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
- Flexibility to work all schedules, especially during the opening phase
Restaurant General Manager Role:
- Serve as the General Manager, overseeing all front- and back-of-house operations
- Maintain hands-on leadership of the kitchen, ensuring food quality, recipe execution, consistency, and cleanliness
- Support the opening and ongoing oversight of multiple concepts within the airport district
- Lead a high-volume, fast-paced operation in a demanding airport-adjacent environment
- Drive operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and financial performance
Restaurant General Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure high-level food quality, recipe adherence, and kitchen systems
- Oversee daily operations, labor scheduling, inventory, and compliance
- Lead new store opening activities, including training, systems, and execution
- Manage P&L performance, labor costs, COGS, and inventory
- Recruit, train, and develop strong teams across FOH and BOH
- Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and operational standards
- Collaborate with leadership on menu execution, LTOs, and operational improvements
