An established civil engineering firm (anonymous) is seeking a senior‑lead level professional to serve as Senior Project Manager or VP of Civil Engineering. The successful individual will lead and direct large civil engineering projects, manage client relationships, oversee profitability and project execution, and contribute to the strategic growth of the firm.

Senior Project Manager / VP Civil Engineering Benefits/Compensation

Senior Project Manager / VP Civil Engineering Requirements/Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; 10 + years of relevant civil engineering experience
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Florida
  • Plan, design and direct civil engineering projects: analyze maps/soil/terrain/hydrology; prepare and modify reports, specifications, plans, drawings; supervise draftspersons and technicians
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, profitability, work‑in‑process controls, client billing and collections
  • Act as primary client contact; supervise project managers/teams; develop engineering agreements, pricing/estimating/scoping/marketing strategies
  • Visit construction sites to monitor progress and ensure compliance with contract documents and quality systems
  • Develop workload forecasts, construction cost estimates, and ensure timely completion of all assigned projects
