We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to support the operations of our busy New York City restaurant group. This role is central to keeping the business running smoothly—overseeing payroll, recruitment, and administrative functions that ensure both the team and the office are supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time
- Lead recruitment efforts, including posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires
- Maintain employee files and support HR-related documentation
- Oversee day-to-day office administration, including scheduling, correspondence, and vendor coordination
- Support leadership team with reporting, compliance, and special projects
- Assist with employee communication and help foster a positive workplace culture
Qualifications
- 2+ years of office management, HR, or administrative experience (hospitality or restaurant industry preferred)
- Strong understanding of payroll systems and processes
- Experience with recruitment and onboarding practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
