Our client, a thriving Litigation Practice is looking to add a driven and skilled Mid-Level Litigation Associate to their team in either their Lexington or Louisville office. The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of hands-on litigation experience, strong legal writing and analytical ability, and confidence in the courtroom. This role offers an outstanding opportunity for a committed attorney to advance their career in a firm that prioritizes growth, mentorship, and meaningful trial experience.

Litigation Associate Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials across general, commercial, and energy-related disputes.
  • Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents.
  • Handle case files, deadlines, and discovery production with minimal oversight.
  • Partner with senior attorneys on litigation strategies and trial preparation.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
  • Stay informed on relevant case law and statutory developments to support litigation strategy.

Litigation Associate Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic performance.
  • Licensed to practice law in Kentucky.
  • At least 3 years of litigation experience, ideally in general, commercial, or energy matters.
  • Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Strong organizational and case management skills.
  • Confidence and readiness to appear in court and handle matters independently.
