We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team. This role involves managing multiple commercial and industrial projects, with occasional multifamily work as well. The position offers a hybrid schedule, though candidates should be located within 60 miles of our office for occasional on-site meetings, job walks, and training sessions.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support the design, scheduling, planning, and delivery of fire sprinkler projects from start to finish
- Utilize AutoCAD, HydraCAD, or AutoSprink to develop accurate and efficient designs
- Ensure compliance with NFPA regulations and company quality standards
- Oversee construction activities, inspections, and quality control processes
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to meet deadlines and expectations
- Expedite project phases to ensure on-time and cost-effective delivery
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of fire sprinkler design and project management experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, HydraCAD, or AutoSprink design software
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related technical field preferred, but not required
- Strong working knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and NFPA regulations
- NICET Water-Based Systems Level II or III certification preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with accuracy and attention to detail
