Our Napa Valley Winery is hiring for a multi-enterprise experienced Controller. This is a leading global company that is multi-faceted and requires deep attention to detail and strong financial accounting acumen.
Controller Key Responsibilities:
- The controller will be responsible for the preparation of timely and accurate monthly financial statements.
- Accountable for the review of monthly/quarterly/annual reporting packages in compliance with GAAP
- Create and maintain the financial consolidation with multiple entities
- Oversee all accounting reconciliations and ensure accuracy
- Prepare select CA/TTB tax reporting/compliance, manage outside compliance consultants
- Manage and motivate a team of accounting professionals.
- Implement and maintain processes to improve strong internal control
- Direct the annual financial statement review and tax prep
Controller Qualifications::
- 5-7 years accounting experience
- Experience with Net Suite / ERP
- Strong analytical skills, problem resolution, and an exceptional understanding of GAAP
- Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or equivalent experience
- Sharp attention to detail with excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with confidential information
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
