Position Summary

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of field operations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires an experienced leader with a strong background in home services operations, remodeling, or construction management, along with proven success in crew leadership, resource management, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight: Manage day-to-day field operations for multiple remodeling and construction projects.
  • Crew Management: Lead, schedule, and supervise installation crews and subcontractors to ensure productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Budget & Schedule Control: Maintain tight control of project budgets, timelines, and deliverables to meet or exceed performance targets.
  • Quality Assurance: Enforce company standards for workmanship and ensure all projects meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to ensure optimal utilization and cost control.
  • Problem Solving: Address project challenges quickly to minimize delays or rework.
  • Client Communication: Maintain strong relationships with customers throughout project execution to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Safety Leadership: Promote and enforce a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 10+ years in home services operations, remodeling (exterior and/or interior), or construction management.
  • Proven track record in crew leadership and delivering projects on time, on budget, and within scope.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency with project management software and documentation tools.

Preferred:

  • Experience with both residential and commercial remodeling projects.
  • OSHA certification or equivalent safety training.
  • Familiarity with CRM and field management platforms.
