Pastry Jr Sous Chef – Requirements & Qualifications

·      Minimum 3 years of management experience in a high-volume kitchen

·      At least 1 year of cake decorating and baking experience

·      Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills

·      Ability to manage a 45+ hour work week with open availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

·      ServSafe certified with knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures

Pastry Jr Sous Chef – Preferred Background & Skills

·      Experience with French pastry production strongly preferred

·      Strong understanding of labor and food cost controls

·      Proven ability to oversee production schedules, ordering, and inventory

·      Experience leading and training teams with a focus on accountability and professional development

·      Working knowledge of all commercial kitchen equipment and systems

·      Capable of managing cross-functional communication between kitchen and front-of-house

·      Detail-oriented with a passion for executing high standards of quality and consistency

·      Comfortable supporting event execution, production meetings, and multi-department collaboration
