Your Responsibilities
- Rapidly repair downed equipment to minimize downtime
- Implement and improve preventive maintenance schedules
- Lead mechanical process improvement projects using DMAIC methodology
- Troubleshoot electrical and ammonia refrigeration systems
- Maintain maintenance records and manage parts inventory
- Train and mentor junior technicians
- Ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, OSHA, EPA, GMP, and SQF standards
- Operate the ammonia refrigeration system independently
- Support production and changeovers as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of general maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
- Operator 1 certification (GCAP) or RETA CARO certification
- Strong skills in electrical, welding, refrigeration, and fabrication
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical diagrams
- Proven troubleshooting expertise
- Organized, hands-on, and safety-focused team player
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs and move comfortably around the facility
- Must be willing to work in cold environments
- Reliable commute or plans to relocate prior to starting
