Your Responsibilities

• Rapidly repair downed equipment to minimize downtime
• Implement and improve preventive maintenance schedules
• Lead mechanical process improvement projects using DMAIC methodology
• Troubleshoot electrical and ammonia refrigeration systems
• Maintain maintenance records and manage parts inventory
• Train and mentor junior technicians
• Ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, OSHA, EPA, GMP, and SQF standards
• Operate the ammonia refrigeration system independently
• Support production and changeovers as needed

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of general maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
• Operator 1 certification (GCAP) or RETA CARO certification
• Strong skills in electrical, welding, refrigeration, and fabrication
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical diagrams
• Proven troubleshooting expertise
• Organized, hands-on, and safety-focused team player

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs and move comfortably around the facility
• Must be willing to work in cold environments
• Reliable commute or plans to relocate prior to starting
