A renowned high-end restaurant in Montauk is seeking a Seasonal Pastry Chef to join its dynamic culinary team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

Position Overview:

The Pastry Chef will be responsible for executing the restaurant’s established dessert menu with precision and consistency. This is not a creative development role—it requires a candidate with strong technical skills, discipline, and the ability to follow exact recipes and plating standards. You’ll work in a supportive, professional kitchen environment that values efficiency, organization, and excellence.

What You’ll Do:

Execute all plated desserts and pastry items to restaurant standards
Manage pastry prep and production to meet service demand
Oversee pastry inventory and ordering
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry area
Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or hotel pastry kitchen
Strong technical skills and attention to detail
Ability to follow standardized recipes without deviation
Comfortable working long hours, weekends, and holidays
A team player with a great attitude and strong work ethic

This is a seasonal, full-time position available immediately through Columbus Day.
