Employment Law Associate Attorney
Location: Denver, CO

Position Overview:
Our recruiting firm is partnering with a respected Denver law firm to find a Labor & Employment Law Associate with 3-5+ years of experience. This position offers the opportunity to work across a mix of litigation and advisory matters, with exposure to sophisticated employment law issues and supportive mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes.
- Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and memoranda.
- Counsel public and private employers on daily labor and employment issues, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
- Advise on and develop workplace policies and practices to help clients mitigate legal risks.
- Conduct legal research and prepare concise, well-supported legal analyses.
- Assist in developing and delivering employee training programs on employment law topics.
- Support traditional labor matters, including unfair labor practice charges and collective bargaining agreements.
- Collaborate closely with partners and colleagues on case strategy and client management.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- 3-5 years of labor and employment law experience, including litigation and advisory work.
- Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and case analysis related to employment matters.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience advising on workplace discrimination, harassment, wage/hour disputes, and traditional labor law preferred.
- Active Colorado bar license (or eligibility for admission).
