We're seeking an experienced and driven Metal Trader to join a fast-paced, industry-leading team focused on growth and innovation. This is an opportunity for someone with strong industry knowledge and an entrepreneurial mindset to thrive in a high-impact role.
Metal Trader Responsibilities:
- Build and strengthen relationships with scrapyards and suppliers across the U.S.
- Identify new supply opportunities while managing and expanding existing accounts
- Negotiate competitive pricing and terms for stainless and specialty scrap
- Travel as needed to visit suppliers, attend industry events, and stay connected to the market
- Manage your deals from start to finish, entering transactions into the company’s ERP system and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth execution
Metal Trader Qualifications
- Proven communication skills — both written and verbal — with the ability to influence and build trust
- Strong organizational habits and attention to detail to manage multiple accounts and transactions
- A self-starter with creative problem-solving abilities and a sharp eye for opportunity
- Someone who works well independently, but thrives in a collaborative, team-focused environment
