Foreman – Public Works – Las Vegas, NV

Foreman Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction
Strong supervisory background in public works, including sewer, water, and storm drain projects
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
Proven ability to coordinate and communicate with owners, engineers, inspectors, and field crews

Foreman Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Serve as the on-site representative, coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure compliance with contract requirements
Lead and supervise construction laborers and operators, overseeing daily activities and task assignments
Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations, modeling and promoting safe work practices
Manage field operations to deliver projects efficiently, safely, and within budget
Oversee work planning, material needs, logistics, and documentation
Mentor, train, and develop crew members, supporting onboarding and ongoing skill development
Provide input on employee performance and resolve crew issues professionally and promptly
