Foreman – Public Works – Las Vegas, NV

Foreman – Public Works Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction (public works experience preferred)
Strong background managing and supervising crews on underground utilities (sewer, water, storm drain), pump stations, and related civil projects
Demonstrated experience ensuring jobsite safety and compliance with OSHA regulations

Foreman – Public Works Preferred Background & Skills

Experience as an on-site company representative coordinating with owners, inspectors, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies
Proven leadership in mentoring, training, and developing field staff
Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly valued

Foreman – Public Works Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Supervise and lead field crews (up to 10 employees) on-site, ensuring daily operations run safely, efficiently, and according to plan
Coordinate with project management, safety team, and field personnel to organize work activities and material logistics
Ensure all work complies with drawings, technical specifications, and contract requirements
Enforce company safety protocols and OSHA standards; conduct safety training, inspections, and documentation
Provide clear task assignments, monitor work quality, and address performance issues professionally
Communicate proactively with clients, engineers, inspectors, and other stakeholders as the company’s on-site representative
