Intellectual Property Attorney (Partner) Requirements & Qualifications

10+ years of experience in intellectual property law, covering litigation, portfolio management, and transactional matters
Extensive knowledge of trademark, copyright, and patent laws, including prosecution and enforcement
Demonstrated success managing complex IP cases and delivering strategic legal counsel
Outstanding drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
Proven ability to maintain and grow a portable book of business and foster strong client relationships
Admission to the Florida Bar
Technical or scientific background is a plus for patent-related work

Intellectual Property Attorney (Partner) Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Advise clients on a broad range of intellectual property issues with an emphasis on complex litigation and portfolio management
Lead and manage trademark, copyright, and patent prosecution, enforcement, and defense matters
Develop and execute effective consulting and transaction strategies for client IP portfolios
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to drive client satisfaction and positive legal outcomes
Build and strengthen long-term client partnerships by providing proactive, business-minded counsel
