Service Manager Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a full-service restaurant.
  • Strong commitment to outstanding guest service and hospitality.
  • Ability to effectively resolve guest issues and maintain high service standards.

Service Manager Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience in a fast-paced dining environment.
  • Familiarity with front-of-house operations and team leadership.

Service Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily front-of-house operations with a hands-on leadership style.
  • Inspire, support, and coach the front-of-house team to deliver standout guest service.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction through prompt issue resolution and positive interactions.
  • Lead by example during busy service periods, stepping into support roles as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth, efficient service.
  • Monitor guest flow, wait times, and team productivity to meet service standards.
  • Uphold all safety, sanitation, and food handling protocols.
