Production Manager
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead production and assembly operations. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing processes while meeting production goals and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, ERP systems, and quality assurance standards.
Production Manager Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily manufacturing and assembly operations, ensuring safe work practices.
- Drive production efficiency to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output targets.
- Maintain 100% on-time delivery through effective production planning and workforce management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Warehousing, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, and Cost Accounting.
- Develop and deliver KPI and production performance reports.
- Partner with QA/QC to ensure products meet or exceed quality standards; conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee inventory accuracy through audits and reconciliation with accounting and warehouse teams.
- Implement Lean manufacturing and process improvements to enhance productivity.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of production associates.
Production Manager Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations leadership.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing safety policies and procedures.
- Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems, forecasting, and production planning.
- Deep understanding of quality standards, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement tools (e.g., Six Sigma, 5S).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
