Key Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise: Master and apply the discipline’s technical policies and procedures to develop, modify, and review detailed structural drawings.
- Interdisciplinary Coordination: Work closely with architects, engineers, and drafters to ensure seamless integration across all aspects of project design.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior technicians or drafters, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
- Project Collaboration: Assist Structural Engineers in project-related tasks, contributing to the successful completion of projects.
- Client Engagement: Attend meetings with owners, clients, and other design professionals, offering technical insights and solutions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Background: Possess a Technical Diploma in Structural or Architectural Drafting.
- Experience: Bring 10+ years of experience in structural design, with a strong portfolio that includes municipal, K-12 and higher education facilities, industrial, commercial, and pre-engineered metal building projects.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in REVIT and a solid understanding of standard structural details and building materials, including concrete, masonry, steel, and wood.
