Position Summary
The Senior Project Engineer plays a hands-on, technical leadership role within our engineering team, managing complex dry bulk storage projects from concept through production. This role combines project execution, engineering design, structural analysis, and collaboration across departments. The ideal candidate thrives on solving technical challenges, enjoys working directly with customers and fabricators, and leads by doing rather than delegating.
You will act as a key technical contributor while also supporting and mentoring junior engineers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both engineering detail and big-picture impact, without the constraints or expectations of traditional executive management.
Senior Project Engineer Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $110,000 – $140,000 + bonuses
- Health Insurance
- 401(k) with 3% company match
- Vacation and Personal Leave
- 45 hour work week, M-Th 7:00-5:00, Friday 7:00-12:00
Senior Project Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
- 5-10+ years of engineering experience in dry bulk or related industrial sectors.
- Strong 3D modeling skills (CREO Parametric preferred).
- Proficiency in structural design and analysis of beams, columns, and related components.
- Professional Engineering (PE or SE) license is preferred, but not required.
