Meet Patrick

Patrick William Hickey is a strategic workforce and business development leader with more than a decade of experience helping organizations grow through innovative staffing solutions, operational excellence, and strategic partnerships. His expertise spans the Government, Healthcare, Higher Education, and Emerging Technology sectors, where he has built scalable workforce strategies, led complex RFP initiatives, developed executive-level partnerships, and identified new market opportunities. Throughout his career, Patrick has played a pivotal role in generating tens of millions of dollars in new business opportunities by aligning workforce solutions with long-term organizational goals. He is also recognized for his leadership in AI workforce strategy, near-shore staffing initiatives, emergency response workforce programs, and other innovative talent solutions designed to meet evolving business needs.

At Goodwin Recruiting, Patrick serves as an operational leader within the Contracts Department, overseeing contract lifecycle management, fee agreement processes, and contract administration. By optimizing workflows, strengthening compliance, and fostering collaboration across recruiting, finance, legal, and leadership teams, he enables recruiters to focus on building client relationships while ensuring every engagement is executed efficiently and consistently. His background in operations, business development, sales leadership, and enterprise client management allows him to bridge strategy with execution, making him a trusted resource for organizations seeking sustainable growth and operational excellence.

A Boston native now based in Tampa, Patrick attributes much of his commitment to service and leadership to his family. His father served for more than two decades as Captain of the Boston School Police, while his mother dedicated over 40 years to New England Baptist Hospital.
