A high-volume, coastal restaurant is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to support daily kitchen operations and uphold consistent execution across all service periods. This role partners closely with the Executive Chef to lead the back-of-house team, maintain quality standards, and ensure smooth, disciplined service. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in operational excellence and team development.

Sous Chef Requirements and Qualifications
- 2–4+ years of culinary leadership experience as a Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager
- Proven ability to lead kitchen operations in a high-volume, full-service environment
- Experience with scheduling, inventory management, ordering, and food cost control
- Ability to train, coach, and hold BOH team members accountable
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to work the line during peak service
Sous Chef Preferred Background and Skills
- Experience in seafood-driven or coastal dining concepts
- Proven execution in private dining events
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and solutions-oriented during busy services
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with FOH leadership
