We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Kitchen Manager to support daily kitchen operations and help lead our back-of-house team. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone looking to grow into a Kitchen Manager position as new locations open.


Assistant Kitchen Manager Responsibilities

  • Assist the Kitchen Manager with daily kitchen operations
  • Lead, train, and support kitchen staff
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and proper presentation
  • Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
  • Assist with scheduling, inventory, ordering, and receiving deliveries
  • Help manage opening and closing kitchen procedures
  • Step in for the Kitchen Manager as needed

Assistant Kitchen Manager Qualifications

  • Prior kitchen experience required; leadership experience for 2+ years
  • Strong communication and team-leadership skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards (ServSafe preferred)
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Spanish speaking is a plus
  • Desire to grow into a Kitchen Manager role with future openings
