Our client is a general contractor that is looking to fill a Construction Project Manager position in the Blacksburg, VA area.

Project Manager – Commercial Construction Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing project budgets, resource allocation, scheduling, financial performance, project submittals, subcontractor management, and quality control for each assigned project
Coordinate and facilitate all collaboration and update meetings with clients and project teams, from Pre-Construction through Final Completion
Prepare and submit project schedules, cost estimates, and bid packages
Establish and enforce quality control and safety standards on the job site and ensure adherence by direct reports and subcontractors

Project Manager – Commercial Construction Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field
3+ years of construction industry experience with project management responsibility, to include client interface and financial performance and cost reporting
Experience with Prolog or other project management software required
Understanding of civil engineering design and construction standards, preferably in high-rise building applications (or other civil/structural applications)
Strong communication skills and ability to lead and delegate effectively to a diverse team of subcontractors while maintaining control of project budget and timeline

Superintendent Compensation Highlights:

$125K – $140K annually
