A well-established, nationally respected restaurant group is seeking an experienced Director of Construction to oversee all phases of new builds, remodels, and capital projects. This role offers full project ownership within a company known for exceptional quality, strong financial performance, and beautifully executed hospitality environments.

We’re looking for a hands-on construction leader who knows the Northern Virginia market deeply — someone who can manage complex builds, drive timelines, control budgets, and ensure every project reflects the organization’s high standards. We’re seeking candidates with a proven track record managing $2M–$20M+ restaurant or hospitality projects, ideally with deep familiarity with NoVA market conditions and permitting processes.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of construction projects — concept, design, entitlements, permitting, bidding, procurement, buildout, and turnover
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, kitchen designers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
• Build, manage, and track project budgets while maintaining strict cost-control discipline
• Navigate local jurisdictions, permitting processes, and code requirements confidently
• Ensure construction quality, safety compliance, and on-site execution meet brand expectations
• Lead multiple simultaneous projects with strong communication and schedule management
