A skilled litigation attorney is sought to join a leading automotive product liability and warranty litigation practice. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, proactive litigator with strong writing skills, capable of independently managing discovery and assisting with trial preparation. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex cases for a diverse client base, including major manufacturers, insurers, and government entities.

Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:

  • Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and attend hearings and mediations.
  • Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis; draft memoranda and case strategy recommendations.
  • Review and analyze document productions in preparation for litigation.
  • Prepare detailed client status reports and litigation updates.
  • Manage all aspects of litigation from initial response through trial preparation and participation.

Litigation Attorney Requirements:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic performance.
  • Active membership in the California Bar.
  • 3–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in automotive, aviation, or product liability matters.
  • Familiarity with California Lemon Law, including the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, preferred.
  • Experience practicing in both State and Federal courts.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple time-sensitive matters simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail, sound judgment, and professionalism.
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
