Rooftop Bar Director – Multi-Property Rooftop & Nightlife Venues

Lead Beverage & Bar Programs Across Two Premier Rooftops | New York City, NY

We’re seeking an accomplished Rooftop Bar Director to oversee bar and beverage operations for two of New York City’s most exciting rooftop and nightlife destinations — one an established favorite, and the other an anticipated new opening.

This is a rare opportunity to define and elevate beverage experiences that set the standard for NYC’s rooftop scene.

Compensation:

$135,000 – $140,000 plus bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee bar and beverage operations across two high-volume rooftop and nightlife venues, ensuring quality, innovation, and service excellence.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire bar managers and teams to deliver world-class guest experiences.
• Develop and launch creative cocktail, wine, and beverage programs that capture the energy of New York nightlife.
• Manage vendor relationships, purchasing, and inventory for optimal profitability and efficiency.
• Partner with culinary and operations leadership to execute cohesive F&B concepts.
• Design and implement training programs focused on mixology, service standards, and guest engagement.
• Maintain compliance with all liquor, health, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive bar or beverage leadership within upscale, high-volume rooftop or nightlife venues.
• Proven success managing multiple locations or leading new openings.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage costing, and trend-forward program development.
• Hands-on leadership style with a collaborative, team-driven approach.
• Event programming experience a plus.
• Excellent communication, organization, and service skills.
• Passion for creating vibrant, memorable rooftop and nightlife experiences.
