We are seeking an experienced and licensed Electrical Implementation Engineer to support and lead complex electrical design and installation projects. This position plays a key role in ensuring code compliance, system reliability, and workforce training across all operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with power generation systems, switchgear, transformers, control panels, and conduit systems, as well as deep knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and industrial electrical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee electrical implementation for complex industrial and commercial projects.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise electricians and technicians on electrical standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Design Engineers to ensure compliance with NEC, customer specifications, and project requirements.
  • Inspect and verify electrical assemblies before shipment; identify and correct defects.
  • Develop and enforce standardized procedures for electrical design and enclosure layout.
  • Provide technical direction on safe electrical work practices, equipment use, and troubleshooting.
  • Create and maintain Electrical Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manage procurement of electrical components.
  • Interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and specifications to plan and execute installations.
  • Conduct electrical load calculations and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Support continuous improvement and cross-training initiatives across production teams.

Requirements

  • State Certified Electrician License (required and active).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in electrical system installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Proven expertise in power generation equipment, transformers, switchboards, and control systems.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, blueprint reading, and electrical schematics.
  • Skilled in conduit bending, cable dressing, and medium-voltage terminations.
  • Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work in industrial environments and adapt to varying conditions.
  • Technical training in diesel/gas engines or power generation (trade school or military) preferred.
  • Current certifications in Electrical Safety and OSHA training required.
