Mechanical Engineer Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modeling, assemblies, and detailed drawings)
- Experience creating or using SolidWorks macros to automate design tasks
- Strong foundation in mechanical design, motion systems, and industrial automation
- Ability to adhere to engineering standards, documentation practices, and safety requirements
- Excellent communication and teamwork across departments
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- U.S. citizenship required
Mechanical Engineer Preferred Background & Skills:
- Experience with automated machinery, robotics, or motion control systems
- Familiarity with PLCs, servos, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Understanding of machining, fabrication, and mechanical assembly processes
- Exposure to project management or cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to write or maintain SolidWorks macros or other automation scripts
- Innovative mindset with strong attention to detail and continuous improvement focus
