Position Summary:

The General Manager will oversee all U.S. operations, including business development, financial management, and operational excellence. This executive will be responsible for achieving revenue and growth targets, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards. The ideal candidate has deep industry knowledge, a strong commercial mindset, and proven leadership experience within the power equipment manufacturing sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for U.S. business activities.
  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve company objectives and financial targets.
  • Oversee full P&L responsibility including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
  • Lead sales, marketing, and business development initiatives to expand market share.
  • Build and maintain relationships with utilities, EPCs, key customers, and government stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. regulations and standards (ANSI, IEEE, UL).
  • Collaborate with global headquarters on product development, supply chain, and technology transfer.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing team focused on accountability and innovation.
  • Drive process and digital transformation (ERP/PDM) to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and with regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 15–25 years of progressive senior management experience within the electrical equipment or transformer industry.
  • Proven track record managing P&L, driving business growth, and achieving operational goals.
  • Strong knowledge of transformer manufacturing, power distribution, and U.S. energy market practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing in a multinational or cross-cultural environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
