Our property in Southwest Florida is looking for a strong Hotel Director of Engineering to help lead the maintenance team of this beautiful resort on the Florida coast!
Director of Engineering Benefits:

Director of Engineering Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of building maintenance experience (hotel/resort experience preferred)
- Previous engineering management experience required
- Excellent knowledge of HVAC systems (certification preferred)
- Knowledge of electrical systems, components, devices, boilers, and mechanical systems
- Experience in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry fields
- Knowledge of public construction and building systems, permits, licensing, and codes related to public building and fire safety
Director of Engineering Responsibilities:
- Oversee a preventative maintenance program to ensure the safety and longevity of guestrooms, facilities, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to waste management, energy conservation, and sustainability initiatives
- Manage the hotel maintenance team, organizing efforts to provide a premier facility and positive guest experience
- Work with approved contractors: submit bids, present bids, and make recommendations
