Position Overview

Our luxury hotel client in San Antonio is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Food & Beverage to oversee all F&B operations. This leader will drive revenue, elevate guest experiences, and ensure operational excellence across restaurants, bars, banquets, and in-room dining. The ideal candidate is a visionary with a strong background in hospitality, luxury-boutique-lifestyle full service hotels, team development, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead all F&B outlets, ensuring high standards of service, quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue and control costs (food, beverage, labor).
• Collaborate with culinary leadership on menu planning, pricing, and innovation.
• Oversee inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships to maintain quality and profitability.
• Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing F&B team.
• Foster a positive and professional work environment with clear goals and coaching.
• Conduct performance reviews and implement training programs for team development.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Coordinate effectively with banquet, catering, restaurant, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in F&B management, preferably in upscale hotel environments.
• Strong background in both restaurant and banquet operations.
• Proven success in launching new F&B concepts and driving guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in using data and technology to inform decisions.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Required certifications: Food Handler and TABC; CPR preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or related field.
