Culinary Director / Research and Development Chef

Culinary Director / Research and Development Chef Benefits and Compensation:

  • Salary range: $175K–$195K base

Culinary Director / Research and Development Chef Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in multi-unit or regional kitchen leadership, with a focus on scratch-kitchen operations
  • Proven success in menu rollouts, new initiatives, and promotions
  • Strong back-of-house (BOH) operational knowledge, including cost controls and P&L management
  • Experience with new restaurant openings
  • Willingness to travel frequently; proximity to a major airport is ideal
  • Passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and a relentless pursuit of excellence

Culinary Director / Research and Development Chef Preferred Background & Skills:

  • Culinary degree required; skill and leadership are paramount
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring teams to achieve high standards
  • Ability to build and develop strong BOH leaders across multiple locations
