Chief Engineer

Take the lead in managing all building systems and maintenance operations for a large-scale hospitality property. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced facilities professional ready to drive safety, efficiency, and team performance.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $90,000–$105,000, based on experience

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management or 5–7 years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Leadership experience managing a maintenance or engineering team
  • Familiarity with CAD, MS Office, and maintenance tracking systems
  • Ability to respond to emergencies and lead crisis management
  • Certifications (or willingness to obtain): OSHA 30, EPA, PMP

Must Haves:

  • Lead preventive maintenance and capital projects
  • Manage compliance, safety inspections, and building code requirements
  • Oversee and develop a team of maintenance technicians
  • Coordinate with vendors, monitor contracts and work orders
  • Maintain all critical building systems: fire/life safety, HVAC, water treatment, electrical

Preferred Background:

  • Experience in hospitality or mixed-use commercial facilities
  • Knowledge of environmental compliance and energy-saving technologies
  • Strong vendor management and budget oversight skills
  • Hands-on problem solver with excellent communication abilities
