Executive Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure excellence in preparation, presentation, and consistency.
  • Contribute to menu development, seasonal specials, and recipe execution using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to control costs and reduce waste.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations; foster a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Fill in across various kitchen positions when needed to maintain smooth service.
  • Stay informed on culinary trends and local competition to support continued innovation and relevance.

Executive Kitchen Manager Skills:

  • Proven leadership experience in a fine dining or upscale kitchen environment.
  • Mastery of culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
  • A proactive, hands-on management style with strong problem-solving skills.
