We’re seeking a highly skilled ERP Job Planning and Product Costing Specialist with deep expertise in EPICOR ERP systems to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll be the go-to subject matter expert for job planning, routing, BOM creation, and costing—playing a critical part in driving efficiency, accuracy, and profitability across the organization. You’ll partner with Production, Engineering, and Finance to streamline workflows, ensure precise product costing, and maintain data integrity—empowering better decision-making and operational success.

ERP Job Planning and Product Costing Specialist Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on EPICOR ERP experience with a focus on job planning, BOM management, and costing – EPICOR 10 experience
- Strong background in manufacturing—discrete manufacturing experience highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of costing principles, routings, inventory management, and workflow optimization.
- High proficiency with ERP reporting tools and Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field
ERP Job Planning and Product Costing Specialist Responsibilities
- Serve as the in-house EPICOR ERP expert, specializing in job planning, BOM management, routing, and costing modules.
- Develop, refine, and maintain accurate part costing models to support quoting, margin analysis, and forecasting.
- Collaborate with teams to map, validate, and improve job workflows for maximum efficiency and accuracy.
- Enhance part numbering systems and job templates to streamline operations.
- Train and support staff on EPICOR best practices and data accuracy standards.
- Generate timely reports (sales, shipments, WIP, inventory) to assist leadership in decision-making.
- Participate in ERP upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot EPICOR issues, partnering with IT and consultants as needed.
