We are a leading restaurant group, expanding globally with a focus on building a modern fast-casual dining brand. We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Manager to oversee our legal and compliance matters in New York State and New York City, ensuring the company’s operations remain compliant while supporting our growth strategy.

Senior Legal Manager Requirements & Qualifications:
- Licensed attorney in New York State; Juris Doctor (JD) preferred.
- 10+ years of legal experience, with at least 5 years in the restaurant, retail, or FMCG sectors.
- Strong expertise in New York labor law, food industry compliance, and commercial contracts. Familiarity with California laws is a plus
- Proven skills in negotiation, legal writing, and stakeholder communication.
- Ability to balance legal risk management with business priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Senior Legal Manager Responsibilities
- Manage all legal and compliance affairs in New York State and City, covering corporate governance, labor & employment, and food safety.
- Support corporate governance, investments, financing, and other strategic initiatives.
- Provide legal guidance to the HR team on labor law, employment relationships, and employee policies.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including supplier agreements, leases, and partnerships.
- Oversee external counsel, manage litigation, compliance investigations, and dispute resolution.
