This is a pivotal executive role overseeing full operational responsibility—distribution, transportation, logistics, and supply chain management—for one of the largest branded food service networks in the U.S.

This organization services thousands of locations across the country and distributes to a number of international markets. The company is widely recognized for delivering excellence in cost control, quality, and service. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and have a proven track record in high-volume food service distribution, this role offers the opportunity to make a direct and lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of operations including transportation, warehousing, procurement, and inventory management for food, beverage, equipment, and packaging products.
  • Serve as the senior operations leader for the site, driving operational excellence and alignment with national supply chain strategy.
  • Build and execute both short- and long-term operational goals; manage and forecast a multimillion-dollar budget with full P&L ownership.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendor networks, franchisee organizations, and internal executive leadership.
  • Champion a high-performing culture by developing performance-driven teams and succession planning initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and quality standards, while improving efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Ideal Background

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in food service distribution, logistics, or supply chain management; co-op or franchised business model exposure highly preferred.
  • Experience operating at the VP or senior executive level within a high-volume ($500M+), national distribution company.
  • Proven leadership in managing complex, multi-temperature supply chain operations across food and packaging categories.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large operating budgets with full P&L responsibility.
  • Deep familiarity with the quick-service restaurant (QSR) or retail food distribution industry and related compliance/regulatory environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage franchisee networks and influence key stakeholders.

Why This Role?

  • National visibility within a growing, high-impact organization
  • Equity and stock options available for senior leaders
  • Comprehensive healthcare and executive benefits
  • Opportunity to scale operations and influence broader strategic initiatives
  • Work with a respected team driving innovation in food service logistics
