Staff Accountant – Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting or related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to read and interpret financial reports

Staff Accountant – Must Haves:

  • Review and verify financial statements to ensure accuracy and legal compliance
  • Prepare and file tax returns according to deadlines
  • Maintain and organize up-to-date financial records across departments
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements and investigate discrepancies
  • Enter and track accounting data in internal systems and business logs
  • Support documentation preparation for annual external audits
  • Analyze accounts and suggest ways to reduce operational costs and increase revenue

Staff Accountant – Preferred Background & Skills:

  • Experience using Restaurant365 or similar accounting software
  • Background in hospitality or multi-unit operations
  • Previous involvement in cost analysis and revenue improvement projects
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Interest in growing into senior-level finance roles
