The ideal candidate will adopt a hands-on, team-oriented approach to ensure high-quality experiences for guests, associates, and clients. We seek individuals who are high-energy, results-oriented team players, capable of driving performance and maximizing operational profits (GOP). The successful candidate will possess the ability to conceive and execute daily plans while motivating the team to craft memorable experiences for all guests.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Holding associates accountable
  • Writing accurate monthly reports
  • Motivating associates to exceed expectations
  • Developing direct reports' skills and creativity
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and adept at working autonomously
  • Demonstrating a professional and motivational image to various stakeholders
  • Collaboration with the corporate team
  • First point of contact for regional/home office sales support
  • Coaching and motivating a sales team for optimum profitability
  • Evaluating operational team strengths and challenges
  • Monitoring industry trends in the region
  • Ensuring Sales Teams utilize key information for strategic decisions

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Desired 5+ years’ experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager
  • Strong knowledge of the selling process, employee relations, and fostering a service culture
  • Familiarity with industry market reports like STR, Hotelligence, and P/L statements
  • Ability to mentor, multitask, and train effectively
  • Prior experience as a GM in a hotel
  • Excellent time management, guest service, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Qualification Requirements:

  • Experience in a GM role in a hotel setting
  • Excellent time management skills, planning, and follow-through
  • Strong guest service orientation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Education and Experience:

  • Prior GM or Assistant GM experience is required
  • Strong leadership and presentation skills preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of group and business transient sales
  • Proficiency in revenue management tools and strategies

Language Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle difficult situations professionally
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and communicate effectively
  • Travel is required for business-related purposes
