Sous Chef – Benefits & Compensation:

Sous Chef – Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef in a full-service or fast-casual restaurant
  • Strong leadership presence with a passion for coaching and developing others
  • Proven ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Food safety and health & safety compliance knowledge
  • Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening

Sous Chef – Must Haves:

  • Lead by example and create a positive, caring kitchen culture
  • Attract, hire, train, and develop top culinary talent
  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety
  • Execute consistent service and foster collaboration across all positions
  • Motivate and inspire the back-of-house team to exceed performance goals
  • Deliver on operational targets while embracing a hands-on management style

Sous Chef – Preferred Background & Skills:

  • Prior experience opening new restaurant locations
  • Familiarity with Asian-inspired cuisine or scratch kitchens
  • Comfortable using scheduling and kitchen management tools
  • Passion for continuous improvement and embracing change
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead with empathy and accountability
