Production & Quality Control Manager – Beef Processing | $60K–$65K

High-growth beef processing operation is seeking a hands-on Production & Quality Control Manager to oversee order accuracy, product quality, and shipping from our co-packing facility. This role is perfect for detail-oriented leaders with experience in meat processing, food production, or quality control who want upward mobility in a fast-growing company.

Requirements:

  • Experience in meat processing, production, or food quality control
  • Knowledge of beef grading (Choice, Prime, Select) and NAMP specs
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in refrigerated environments and stand for long periods

Must Haves:

  • Verify production orders, portion cuts, and packaging accuracy
  • Inspect incoming product for quality and compliance
  • Manage shipping coordination to ensure on-time delivery
  • Keep accurate production and shipping records
  • Communicate daily with leadership on quality and operations

Preferred:

  • Vendor or co-packer management experience
  • ServSafe or similar certification
  • Food science or culinary background
  • Proven process improvement experience
