Requirements & Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Human Services or equivalent experience (CBIS designation preferred)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in special needs, brain injury, rehabilitation, or behavioral programming
• Previous residential and supervisory/management experience
• Strong decision-making, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must meet all background check requirements

Must Haves (Day-to-Day):

• Lead and oversee care and treatment programs for residents, including life skills training and behavioral interventions
• Ensure compliance with all certification/licensing standards and state regulations
• Collaborate closely with House Coordinators to maintain treatment goals and protocols
• Coordinate medical appointments and oversee healthcare documentation
• Facilitate and attend resident care meetings, neuro-rehab appointments, and risk management reviews
• Partner with Behavior Specialists to develop and implement behavior plans
• Serve in an on-call capacity for emergencies or staff shortages
• Conduct assessments for potential new admissions
• Maintain regular communication with families, guardians, and service coordinators

Preferred Background & Skills:

• CBIS certification
• Experience working with challenging behaviors in residential settings
• Strong ability to train and mentor staff
• Proven success in policy and procedure development
• Experience with quality assurance and program improvement initiatives
